MANILA, Philippines – The vivo X300 Series introduces Origin Island, a system-level feature that simplifies multitasking and reduces the steps required to complete everyday tasks.
Origin Island works as an intelligent interaction layer that helps users move, copy, and act on information more efficiently across different apps. By addressing common productivity challenges—such as constant app switching, repetitive actions, and disrupted workflows—the feature aims to make daily smartphone use faster and more seamless.
Drag and Go simplifies cross-app sharing
One of Origin Island’s standout capabilities is Drag and Go, which lets users transfer content between apps with a simple long-press-and-drag gesture.
Instead of switching back and forth between apps, users can pull content directly from one interface and drop it into another. This feature supports real-time syncing of emails, documents, music, and meeting materials, making it easier to manage tasks while working or attending virtual meetings.
For example, a user can select a photo and drag it straight into a chat or social media app. Text from a webpage can also be dragged directly into a Notes app for quick saving. By eliminating extra steps, Drag and Go helps users stay focused and work more efficiently.
Copy and Go turns copied content into instant actions
Another key feature of Origin Island is Copy and Go, which transforms copied information into quick action options.
When users copy content such as phone numbers, URLs, or meeting links, the system automatically recognizes the data and displays relevant shortcuts. These may include options like Call, Message, Add Contact, Add to Calendar, or Open Webpage, allowing users to act immediately without manually opening another app.
The system integrates with core services such as Google Meet, the vivo dialer, and the browser. This enables users to move from copying information to completing a task in a single step. For instance, copying a phone number instantly offers a call option, while copying a meeting link can open it directly in a video conferencing app.
Built for everyday efficiency
With features like Drag and Go and Copy and Go, Origin Island focuses on removing friction from everyday smartphone use. By minimizing app switching and manual steps, the vivo X300 Series positions itself as a productivity-focused device suited for both professional and personal needs.
The feature also highlights vivo’s commitment to user-centered design, prioritizing speed, simplicity, and smarter interactions for today’s fast-paced digital lifestyle.
Priced starting at ₱67,999, the vivo X300 Series is available at vivo concept stores nationwide and online through the vivo e-store, Lazada, and Shopee.
