Rarely do I take my time to go to the wet market, but since I have been hearing a lot of this hyped sashimi stand in Araneta Farmers Plaza Cubao Quezon City. I have finally decided to get myself dirty and sweaty visiting the wet market or what they called “dampa” inside Farmers Market.

Going there is easy, you just need to locate the fruit stand, walk straight toward the fish vendors and you wont miss it upon going down the stairs you just need to immediately turn left. Just refer to my video for more information on how to get there.

JAAM Seafood Trading as we all know became an online sensation, they have been accomodating hundreds of customers on a daily basis from 4 am all the way to 10 pm in the evening. Imagine all that 18 grueling hours of slicing fresh fish is not a easy job to do.
Freshly Sliced Each Day
After a quick chat with the very friendly owner Ms. Princess, we learned that they have been flooded by clients from all over the Metro, including popular celebrities and personalities alike. They have take on 40 whole salmon fish from Norway each day just to accomodate the request that are coming in thru their messenger.

Their Tuna came from Quezon Province and Bohol which are local spots from the province. The sea urchin are some delight as well if you know how to enjoy them. Nori are also available for purchase which adds saltiness to the sashimi.

It was a blast after tasting their fresh salmon, these are not just ordinary salmon, but deep sea salmon which are not breeded. They just run wild under the deep ocean, which is always better than cultured fish.
