Everyone is now scrambling to buy a phone just in time for the upcoming schoolyear and not everyone can afford phones that are above 10,000 Pesos, and that is quite the reality during this pandemic as many of us are either going to work just 2 to 3 days a week (it also translates to just being paid 2 to 3 days only).
Now Huawei just released in time for this season, affordable units from the Y-Series lines which is the Y6p and the Y5p. Priced at 5990 and 4490 Pesos respectively, each has its own battle to win. Its up to you to choose which weapon suits your taste (or shall I say which budget category you can afford).
Let begin with the Y5p

The Huawei Y5p definitely is the most simplest for of cellphone that we can find today, with a basic camera and 5.45 inch display. This takes me back to the early days of cellphones where screens are small, bezels are thick and well, processors are just mere basic one just to complete basic multitasking. The Huwei Y5p definitely is just a very basic phone for every day use. Yes this can withstand basic multitasking and it can simply play basic games. Don’t expect too much from this phone as this is designed for those who are tight on a budget and probably might have a hard time keeping up with power hungry apps.

The Huawei Y6p on the other hand is just a beefed up Y5p, sporting the same processor, it has a bigger screen, better camera and bigger battery size. To be honest it isnt much better in terms of playing games since the processor is just the same, but handling multitask is a bit better with the extra GB of RAM. Battery life was better and definitely the photos are a lot better, well not the best of course.
