The Next-Generation Ford Ranger has reached its 15,000th customer milestone, only fourteen months after it was launched in the country alongside the Next-Generation Ford Everest.
As of September 2023, sales for the Next-Gen Ranger totaled 16,127 units since it launched in July 2022. The Next-Gen Ranger also remained Ford Philippines’ top-selling vehicle for the first nine months of the year with sales growing by 22 percent from a year ago to 9,113 units sold.
“We are elated with the achievement of this new milestone for the Next-Gen Ranger, which is a true testament to its growing popularity among Filipino pickup truck buyers. It is the smartest, most versatile, and most capable Ranger yet, and was developed with our customers in mind. We thank our loyal base of Ranger owners for their trust and our dealers for continuing to enhance the ownership experience,” shares Mike Breen, managing director, Ford Philippines.
The Next-Gen Ranger commands visible presence on the road with a defined new grille, rear box side steps, wider track and wheelbase, embossed tailgate and LED taillamps, and C-clamp LED headlamps that give it that unmistakable ‘Built Ford Tough’ look. Cabin is completely redesigned with more comfort, technology, and functionality with the Ranger-first 8” digital instrument cluster, 10” or best-in-class 12” portrait touchscreen, 360-degree camera, and SYNC® 4A with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto capability.
An upgraded chassis and suspension, with a 50mm track width increase, ensure excellent ride and handling, whether riding with passengers, fully loaded with cargo or towing.
Safety remains at the core of the Ford Ranger with a suite of advanced driver-assist technologies that include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert & Braking and comes with standard 6 or7 (for Wildtrak) airbags.
The Next-Gen Ranger is equipped with FordPass and is available with 5-year warranty for a better ownership experience.
