
Google officially announces the opening of submissions for the YouTube Works Awards Southeast Asia (SEA) 2025, held in partnership with marketing research firm Kantar.
Now in its third year, Google calls on brands and agencies across the region to showcase their most impactful and creative YouTube campaigns. The awards celebrate the power of YouTube and video-based marketing in driving business results and fostering meaningful connections with audiences.
This year’s awards feature returning categories that highlight the best of YouTube ads, alongside exciting new additions that reflect the evolving digital landscape.
Entry submissions are now open as of March 17, 2025, and will close on April 30, 2025. The winners will be revealed at the highly anticipated YouTube Works Awards Southeast Asia 2025 Awards Night in October 2025.
Along with returning awards from the previous year, the YouTube Works Awards SEA 2025 will introduce the following new categories:
- Media Agency of the Year: Recognizing the media agency that contributed most to client success through winning YouTube Works Awards SEA 2025 submissions.
- Creative Agency of the Year: Honoring the creative agency that achieved outstanding results through winning YouTube Works Awards SEA 2025 submissions.
- Specialty Agency of the Year: Celebrating the specialty agency–including Creator, Influencer, Social Media, Social-Commerce/Live-streaming agencies and Multi-Channel Network (MCNs)–that demonstrated exceptional performance through winning YouTube Works Awards SEA 2025 submissions.
The Agency of the Year honors of this year’s awards will be based on a point system, the criteria of which will be included in the submission guidelines and the YouTube Works Awards website.

As with the past two years, Kantar will screen all entries and analyze their insights and stats to determine which campaigns and video content were the most successful and effective on YouTube.
