Together with the Manila City LGU, Grab is working to provide aid to support the livelihood of Manileños amid the pandemic with a socio-economic recovery initiative.
Through the GrabBayanihan program, Grab has committed to providing livelihood opportunities to 25,000 tricycle drivers, displaced workers, and small business owners across Metro Manila who have been severely impacted by the pandemic.
In partnership with the City of Manila, Grab will provide livelihood opportunities to at least 2,000 tricycle drivers and displaced workers to be part of Grab’s delivery fleet. The partnership will likewise provide market access to at least 500 small businesses in Manila who are greatly affected by the pandemic.
Grab and the City of Manila has shared several milestone initiatives in the past particularly in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this initiative is additive to Grab’s agenda of working closely with the government amidst the effects of the pandemic.
